The current rules on playing tennis

2 or 4 people per court and singles and doubles games are allowed for players from different households. There should be no more than 12 people on the courts at anyone time and social distancing of at least 2 metres should be observed at all times..

Please also observe:

The gate and padlock are the areas where the virus will be more easily transferred. Please follow government guidelines and use hand sanitiser, after touching these areas and also wipe the padlock and handle when you arrive and leave. You will need to bring your own sanitiser and wipes.

Please don't leave used balls, water bottles or used hand wipes on the court.

The Lawn Tennis Association (LTA)  now says it is permissible to share balls, but please ensure that you don't touch your face during play. Remember to clean your hands when you finish playing.

The LTA has also removed its recommendation about not changing ends. We suggest that players decide before the match when they are happy to change ends.

For more detailed advice see the LTA guidance.
