Chobham Neighbourhood Plan
A Neighbourhood Plan is intended to give a community more say about the type and design of development in its area.
It puts in place planning policy for the immediate area, although that has to conform with national planning policy and the development plans of the wider borough.
Chobham started work on its plan in 2013 with many other people from the community contributing ideas, time and practical help.
Chobham Parish Council applied to Surrey Heath Borough Council to designate a Chobham Parish Neighbourhood Plan area. After a six-week consultation, this was agreed in November 2013. See the details here.
If you would like to find out more about the plan or help with the work of progressing it, please contact the Parish Administrator, firstname.lastname@example.org.
A core part of the plan will be planning policies for the neighbourhood. See the latest draft of the policies for the proposed Chobham Neighbourhood Plan.
